Lesson 124: The Choice of Approach

This is why speed, timing, and the momentum of change are critical for success. Most people and organizations are too slow to change, too fond of past successes to try new ideas. Most armies are refighting their last war rather than dealing with the current situation.

If we want to succeed, we must never hesitate to try new ideas, adopting them if they work and discarding them if they don’t work. We must quickly adjust our methods to fit the emerging trends. New concepts arise, especially in today’s world, and we must adapt to these changes. We must be capable of adapting more quickly than the competition.
